Yarns

These are just a few of the many luxury and novelty yarns we use in creating our Scraplet Skeins!

Camissimo

Camissimo

This is one dreamy yarn — softer than you can imagine, with just a slight fuzziness to the texture, it works into a fabric that feels like air floating over your skin. A true luxury yarn!

(From Karabella Yarns; this yarn has now been discontinued. Boo.)

Cancun

Cancun

The very name of this yarn conjures up a celebration, and that's what it looks like! This great novelty can be knitted alone (even on large needles) or worked together with other yarns to add a splash of color and texture.

(From Tahki/Stacy Charles)

Gossamer

Gossamer

This lightweight mohair sparked with hits of metallic can be knitted on surprisingly large needles, so one ball goes an amazingly long way! It's also beautiful knitted together with other yarns, and is frequently used in our own Scraplet Skeins.

(From Karabella Yarns)

Melody

Melody

Melody is a lightweight ladder yarn with two unique aspects: it's a soft, drapey rayon blend (unlike most ladders, which tend to be all nylon or polyester), and it has tremendous yardage. In addition to using Melody as a mixer with other yarns, consider making a sheer top made with large needles!

(From Southwest Trading Company; this yarn has now been discontinued.)

Piuma Gold

Piuma Gold

This is a gorgeous mohair blend with long metallic eyelashes, a combination that creates a softly elegant texture, especially with lace stitches on large needles.

(From Karabella Yarns; this yarn has now been discontinued. Double boo.)

We also use a variety of yarns that are hand-painted for Knittique in our Scraplet Skeins, making these skeins even more unique.
